Before you can send your first assessment, you need a Qualen company account with your workspace configured and the right people invited. This page walks you through the full setup process — from requesting access to connecting your ATS — so your team is ready to evaluate candidates the moment onboarding is complete.

Getting Access

Qualen is offered to companies through approved onboarding. To get started, book a 30-minute demo with the Qualen team at cal.com/james-potter-rwq3ql/30min. During the demo, you’ll see the platform in action and discuss the right configuration for your hiring workflow. After your demo, the Qualen team will approve your organization and send you an invite code. Use that code along with your work email and company name to complete registration and create your workspace. You’ll set a password during sign-up — there’s no separate identity provider required to get started.

Account Settings

Once you’re signed in, navigate to Settings to manage your profile and workspace preferences. A few things worth configuring before you send your first assessment:
  • Company logo and name — Upload your logo and confirm your company display name. Both appear in candidate-facing communications, including the invite email and the assessment interface.
  • Email notifications — Configure which team members receive email alerts when a candidate completes an assessment. You can notify all team members, specific individuals, or route notifications through a shared inbox.

Inviting Team Members

You don’t have to manage assessments alone. Go to Settings > Team to invite colleagues to your Qualen workspace. Enter their work email addresses and they’ll receive an invite to join your organization. Team members you invite can:
  • View and compare candidate scorecards
  • Create and configure new assessments
  • Manage ATS integrations and workspace settings
Candidate data is only visible to authorized team members within your organization. Qualen does not share candidate information across company accounts.

Connecting an ATS

Connecting your applicant tracking system is the fastest way to integrate Qualen into your existing hiring process. Once connected, your ATS can trigger candidate invites automatically and receive completed scorecards without any manual export steps. Qualen supports Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Workday, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Rippling, BambooHR, Workable, Recruitee, Breezy HR, and Pinpoint. See Integrations Overview for full setup instructions for each supported platform, including the permissions and credentials required for each connection.
